‘Around Here & Out There’ is a Making matters project for Somerset Art Works (SAW). Making Matters is part of the Somerset-wide Company of Voices intergenerational project. The aim of the project is to bring together older (50+) and younger people (under 25) to work together on positive activities that are of benefit to the local community. Through 2010 SAW has developed a diverse programme of projects engaging over 200 participants. Project artists Simon Lee Dicker and Sue Palmer

History
Building on the creative consultation undertaken in Langport throughout 2010 'Around Here & Out There' aims to deliver a series of creative intergenerational workshops that encourage participants to explore ways in which art can provide a new perspective on the way we understand and animate public space.
